Abstract
The subject of Mass and Energy Balances will contribute to the training of agroindustrial engineers with a high academic level, technical mastery, principles and values, committed to the social, environmental and economic reality of the Amazon region and the country. In addition, it allows connecting the knowledge learned in the basic subjects with the professional subjects in such a way that the student will be involved in engineering situations that must be resolved quantitatively.
