About the Journal
The journal features findings of disease outbreak and epidemic field investigations, as well as response to other public health emergencies, and the examination of public health surveillance data, educational and methodological developments in field epidemiology in the Americas.
The topics include communicable and non-communicable diseases, public health disasters or other emergencies, poisoning, injuries (violence and other intentional injuries, and unintentional injuries), mental health including mass psychogenic conditions, social, and other determinants of health as well as indicators of positive health and well-being.
This is an academic, peer-reviewed, online, open-access journal. The authors retain their copyrights to the published material under a Creative Commons no attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (or CC BY-NC-ND) license.
The Journal is published by Mexico's Colegio de la Frontera Sur (ECOSUR).
